37/365

Baby A got up a little early today.  I'm pretty sure he was cold.  Since I was up earlier, I went out to shoot the pear tree in front of our house, which looked really pretty with the sun shining on the snow and ice.  It was nice to take advantage of the low morning sun.

A few shots for today with my 55-250mm (kit) zoom...I shot these raw just to try it out.

36/365 Snowflake

I was sitting in front of the window showing Baby A the snow and saw this snowflake.  I ran to grab my camera, with my 50mm lens, and snapped this photo.  Then, I went to swap lenses to my kit zoom to get a closer shot, but it had blown away by the time I got my zoom on.

35/365 6 Months

Finished our Christmas card photos today.  I took this photo to test lighting but I'm posting it since I don't want to preview any more of our Christmas card photos until I send them out since I think some of our family and friends read this blog.  Baby A is 6 months today.

34/365 Santa Baby

Today I started working on our Christmas card photos.  I got a few shots of Baby A and this was my favorite.  Most of them he was laying down more than this one and this was the best pose, but I'm disappointed I missed my focus on this one and the horizon is off.  All the others had much better, if not tack sharp, focus...figures.  Oh, well, Baby A really doesn't seem to mind the Santa get-up so maybe we'll try again soon. If it doesn't work out, this photo would be ok, at least. After all, I still have one of D to take and I'd love to get one of both of them together but that gets a little daunting sometimes. We'll see.

33/365

D saw me taking my picture in the reflection of the ornament and came over to check it out.  He thought the distortion was funny.  He may as well have been in front of a fun house mirror.
