150/365 Washing the Car
It feels as if Spring may have finally sprung! D helped Daddy wash the car yesterday. He did a very good job drying, except when he got a little carried away flipping the towel. It ended up wrapped around the windshield wipers.

148/365 Intentional Out of Focus Challenge
My Facebook photograpy group did another challenge this week. The prompt was to shoot intentionally out of focus. This is an artistic look I love when done well, but it is harder to do than it seems. There is a fine line between too out of focus and losing important details and being too in focus and then the look becomes unintentional. At any rate this was a nice challenge and change of pace to find the right amound of out of focus as I'm usually "focusing" so hard on getting tack sharp focus.
I had a hard time deciding between color or b&w. I think I prefer the color...ask me again in 10 min..ha.

145/365 Watching
Yep, it definitely snowed a little again this morning. It had all melted by this afternoon, but we are all ready for warmer weather and to get to go outside. Flip flops...please, just let me put on some flip flops!
Also, I sometimes feel all I catch my kids doing is looking out windows, but sometimes I think that's the only time they stop for a few seconds!

142/365 Spyglass
We tried to spend some time outside this afternoon, but it was deceivingly sunny and still quite cool. I did get to try a little garage light.
I couldn't decide between color and b&w...
I like the idea of this framing, but not exactly how this turned out with such a messy frame,etc... and someone is getting a haircut this week. He had bedhead all day!

134/365 Poor guy
Baby A wanted to crawl around with this guy hanging out of his mouth this morning. This Duplo man's head isn't removable, but I did make D pick it up...after I snapped a shot.
133/365 Sleeping
I have the hardest time taking photos of Baby A in his crib. There is either not sufficient light or the light is super harsh/direct light/..or a strange mix of both. Also the honey oak color of his crib makes his skin very warm, if not orange. On top of that, Baby A is not a super sound sleeper so I'm always nervous about waking him when to take photos. Today he took a longer than usualy nap and I knew I was going to have to wake him up anyway to pick up D from preschool, and I snuck in to snap a few. I only got about 3 shots in before he woke up...so I'll keep trying. I am determined to have some sweet photos of him sleeping in his crib.

129/365 Tunnel
The strong backlighting made it a little hard for my lens to focus, but these tunnel photos are so much better than the one I took, at nighttime in artificial light, of D around Christmas (Day 52). The backlight makes a more interesting photo, and conversion, too, which is good b/c this tunnel is bright yellow and blue and creates some crazy color casts.
