I've been working a little more on finding a pp style lately. I am going for clean edits but with a little oomph and polish (I have been adding in a touch of matte lately). Feel free to let me know what you think.
On the tone curve, if you use the existing point on the left (by the shadow side of the histogram) and move it up the side of the histogram, it will give you a matte effect. You can also add a point on the tone curve just above it on the curve and then move the last (already existing) point up the curve for another, different matte effect. Of course, where you move your points can greatly change the look & intensity of the effect.
