This was a fun children's museum.  D loved all the aquarium and terrarium pets and getting to touch a starfish was his favorite thing here...and one of his favorite things about our whole trip.

Snow Day

Big Stinky Man Feet

The other day I asked D if I could cut off his and little A's feet and frame them to keep.  He said, "why do you want to frame them?" and I told him "because they are small and cute and one day you will have big, stinky man feet."  He giggled and murmured, "big, stinky man feet" and said "that's really funny mommy."

Groundhog Day

When I picked D up from pre-k, he was wearing this hat.  I had completely forgot about groundhog day.  One of his teachers told me she asked the class if anyone knew which holiday it was that was in February and involved a little critter that lives underground and D raised his hand and said it was Groundhog Day.  Then she asked what happens if the groundhog sees his shadow and D replied, "There will be 6 more...months...of Christmas."
